just as i am
well off on holiday. before we go just to let you know that we had a wonderful and very affirming time in Galleywood. We met some truly wonderful people. However we have come to the conclusion that this is not the right place for us. I have just spoken to Andy (vicar) about it. Andy thank you for being so gentle, kind, affirming and gracious throughout the whole process. Our thanks too to Alison and Bethany for being lovely hosts. Thanks to Derek and Marion for your hospitality and for making us feel loved and special. Thanks to Hannah and Adam, and Chris and Jenny for reminding us that youth work is a very high calling! Thanks to all you guys we met. We feel very confident that God will bless you with the right person and that you have a very wise and loving pastor in Andy. Thanks for letting me be me - very refreshing!
Graham Barton you have my friend got the upper hand at the moment but don't forget that Chelsea are sure of being in the Champions League next season....and Liverpool...who knows?!!! (was good to see you in your shirt at church buddy....honest!)

oh...I'm glad you went and explored together, anyway...I'd wondered if it might be your post when Andy blogged about it a while back. It sounds as if the whole experience was good for you; hope you'll be able to relax and enjoy the holiday before whatever it is God plans for the next installment. Hugs Kx
Hopefully we'll get together to chat / pray soon. hope you have (have had by the time you read this) a good holiday. Lyn and I are getting 'not yet' signal from God and are trying to find peace / new resolve for the current situation within that. It seems as though the same may apply to you at the moment - think of it as am amber signal - get ready. I am trying to write a paper called 'Life Shaped Church' to be distributed to the whole church to stimulate discussion and much God seeking. I'll forward it to you if I get it done, and don't keep on being distracted by all the other creative opportunities on the new imac!
